The wonderful Dakini Green Tara,
painted especially for our auction.
This unique Green Tara, adorned by
her gorgeous jewelry, gazes compassionately from her semi lotus posture with a
blue flower delicately gripped by her left hand. She is accompanied by a hummingbird on the
right and the Caribbean landscape behind: Juan Griego Lake, located in the
north of the Margarita Island, Venezuela. As decoration, her aura has tropical
flowers also called hibiscus or cayenne flowers. Her lips are red, a
reminiscent detail of Caribbean influence, an aspect that stands out in the
work of Adriana's painted Dakinis. This
piece is beautifully painted in soft colors, the theme and aesthetic are a
delight of sweet harmonies.
