Rinpoche

Stones on canvas
Mucuró works especially with texture, and the protagonist in this painting on stone slabs, give form to the smiling face of our Teacher, Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche. In this work the colors of Thiglé are part of the composition.  One can see four small Tibetan A letters drawn, a wonderful detail reminiscent of Ati Guruyoga. The texture of the stones shows the dimension of the body of the piece itself. The chiaroscuro that emerges from the interplay of light and shadows in this work by Mucuró, give depth to the composition. Every element is represented by its color in the tradition of the Dzogchen philosophy according to type: water, fire, air, earth, and space.
